WWE Says Goodbye to Five Superstars (April 19th, 2024 Release)

The WWE roster saw a shakeup on April 19th, 2024, with the release of five wrestlers. This news comes on the heels of recent discussions about budget cuts within the company. While the reasons for each release haven't been officially disclosed, let's take a moment to acknowledge the departing talent:

• Jinder Mahal: A former WWE Champion, Mahal's release is perhaps the most surprising. He returned to the company in 2016 and enjoyed a significant push, including a 170-day reign with the WWE Championship.
• Xia Li: Known for her impressive striking ability, Li's time on the main roster was cut short. She impressed many fans during her run in NXT.
• Xyon Quinn: After a decent run in NXT, Quinn found limited opportunities on the main roster. His last televised match resulted in a quick defeat.
• Sanga: One-half of the tag team Indus Sher alongside Veer Mahaan, Sanga's release signals the end of the duo's run in WWE.
• Veer Mahaan: The other half of Indus Sher, Veer's power and charisma had fans excited about his potential. Unfortunately, that potential won't be explored further within WWE.
